(Therese Rawsthorne Top, River Island Skirt, Zara Coat, Theyskens' Theory Heels, Vintage Necklace, Michael Kors Watch, Marcs Bag)

I've always been a fan of knee length pencil skirts yet never managed to find one I absolutely loved. I'm sure any vintage shopper will know what I'm talking about when I say we come across so many of these during our travels, but usually there's something not quite right about them. It's either an odd fit, odd fabric or they're just odd in general. So when I spotted this scarf print skirt by River Island I was immediately drawn to its beautiful fit, length and unique yet easily wearable print. I've been styling it with this beautiful citrus yellow top by Therese Rawsthorne and an apple green coat to really make the pattern pop, or for business meetings I've opted for a simple white shirt and colourful lip for a more toned down yet youthful look. Only downfall is you can't really walk very fast (this is crucial for me as I'm always running late!) when this particular fabric is so binding. Tempted to make my own split up the back but I know this would just fall into my 'need to-do but will never do it because I don't have enough time' pile. I'm still adamant that I won't let that list defeat me...
