Mona Johannesson Painting

Hello everyone! How are you all? So I realized today that this had been sitting on my desk and I thought "Hey, I need to share this with everyone!" So here it is. :) It is a painting of Mona Johannesson that I think is from a backstage runway picture. Well, I hope you like it and hope you are all having a great night! Also, I just saw the Avengers again with my family. That movie is great! So funny and entertaining! Have you seen it?

Rasa Zukauskaite Sketch

Hey friends, how are you?
Sorry for the lack of posts lately.
So, I'm not sure if you have been following along on twitter, instragram or Facebook, but I've been working on a new painting for the last few weeks. I can't wait to finish it and show you all.
I have a day or two left of it, I think.

I thought i would post a quick sketch of Rasa Zukauskaite.
She is an amazing model from Next Model Management.
She is also an amazing photographer.

Hi everyone! Thanks so much to everyone who tuned in yesterday to watch the live stream of me painting! It was really fun for me to share that with you and I hope you all enjoyed it. :) If you missed it, I'm thinking of continuing to stream the progress of that painting as I go along with it. It sounded like some of you weren't able to view it because of the time of day. Any suggestions on when I stream the next bit? Just let me know. So the drawing today is of Claudia Devlin. I first saw a picture of her on Tumblr and really loved it! This painting drawing is inspired by a picture of her I found on Premier Model Management's website. When I first found it I really thought she had a great look and thought I would do a quick sketch of it. I hope you like it! :)

Very Rough Draft for Tomorrow

Hello Friends, How was your weekend? Mine was wonderful. We basically hung out all weekend watching the first Season of the TV show, Fringe. I forgot how good that season was. Well, the sketch today is a super duper rough draft sketch i did for an oil painting i want to start tomorrow. The sketch is inspired by Andreas Öhlund's photo of Mona Johannesson and Bo Deveilus for Stockholm S/S/A/W. I was thinking of possibly Live Ustreaming me painting tomorrow. I'm not sure if it would be too boring for yawl. hah. Let me know if it is something you would like, cause I will need to pick up my studio for it. It's a complete mess right now! Well, I hope you're having a great night. :)

A Drawing in the Dark

So we have been super busy, but I'm glad I can get some drawings up.
This one I did on the plane in almost complete darkness on the flight to Tokyo. Haha
It was kind of crazy, but I really like the style of it. What do you think? I hope you are all having a great week! :)

Sketches From Tokyo Pt. 1

Hey Friends, how was your weekend?
I was cleaning up my room and i found the sketchbook i took with me to Tokyo. I had completely forgotten i had done a handful of sketches while on the flight. Above are a few of them. On the left hand side is a quick contour sketch of my brother on the flight and on the right side, a study sketch of a human eye. Really hope you like it. Also i saw that some of you were a little frustrated by the lack of posting of drawings. Lately i've had to finish up some personal things, but i'm hoping to get back drawing this week. So please don't give up on me ;)

My What's Contemporary Collection

Hi everyone! Guess what?! I finally have some drawings for you! My friend Christopher Michael had asked me to participate with a project called What's Contemporary and at first I wasn't sure what would be the best thing to do for it, but I eventually decided to design a mini-collection and these are some of the drawings for it. A Sketch and a Bow

Hi hi hi! I'm back! Aw, so good to be drawing!
How are you all? I've been super busy and working
like crazy to get organized. I think I'm almost there.
I took a break from that today and did this for y'all!
I saw this picture and had to draw it.
I wish I knew what the picture was from.
It was really classic looking and caught my eye.

p.s. I'm going to Tokyo Fashion Week in a few weeks!
Aw, I'm so excited! Its going to be my first time ever
leaving the country. I have always wanted to go to Tokyo
and cannot wait!!! I'll keep you posted on the trip!

The Boy & Girl

Hey Friends!
How was your weekend?
Went and bought some chemicals today for starting the glaze layers tomorrow on that oil painting.
I'm really excited to finish up this painting.
Looks like I'm still a week away from finishing it.
The sketch today is a quick one i did last week of this old 1940ish photo of these two little kids kissing.
The picture was just too adorable so the next thing i knew, i was just doodling it and this was the by-product.

A Sketch of Katiusha Feofanova

Hey Friends,
Well, the painting is starting to clean up a lot.
I worked on it most of today.
But I wanted to get a new post up for you so I did this quick sketch of model Katiusha Feofanova.
I discovered her a few weeks ago and have been wanting to do some drawings of her ever since.
Didn't have too much time to work on it, but I like how it turned out.
What do you think?

p.s. I was thinking of posting some of the lesson learned while experimenting with oil painting; would you be interested in that?

Story Book Concept Drawing - Tom's House

Hi, everyone!
How are you?! : )
As I mentioned, I've been oil painting a lot lately and really enjoying it.
I think the painting is starting to take shape now, and I'm getting excited about it.
Hopefully it will turn out cool and I'll have something fun
to share with you! Also, I might have a new video coming soon.
So my friend Carolina and I have always talked about building a giant tree house,
and I decided to design one! Haha This is my drawing of it. I hope you like it!
