Gemma Ward and Lily Cole - Character Sketchbook 161
Hello! Sorry for how long its been
since my last post. I've been working
like crazy on the story my brother and I are
writing. Currently sorting inspiration images
for locations and characters. Its been very intense!
This painting is from my Character Sketchbook and
is based on a photo by Annie Leibovitz. I love how dynamic
the photo is with so many different people in it and I
hope the painting captured that.
I hope you like the painting and hope I can start posting more!
Grey Shades of Romantic Skies - Inspiration Friday
Tim Walker, Sølve Sundsbø, Joe Sorren, and Hans Holbein the Younger
Happy Inspiration Friday my Friends.
How did the week go for you?
I'm pretty exhausted today,
but it should be alright because i have a pretty laid back day.
I'm working on concept art for my brother and my story book we are writing.
I seriously am dying for you to read it,
but we aren't as far as i was hoping we would be.
It's hard because we both have jobs other than writing...
so we have been sneaking writing sessions in on late nights and weekends.
Hope you have a day full of Inspiration :)
Summer Serene
Zara slacks, DEPT ruffled top, random bandeau, Michael Kors wedges
Hey guys! I'm currently en route to Atlanta, Ga but here are a few photos from the week. I'm enjoying this kind of weather because I get to wear my light slacks along with my airy tops. Don't worry.. I'll show some legs after I get some sun. lol
My First Sculpture!
Hey hey hey Friends, how are you?
So i finally finished up my first ever Sculpture!
I thought it was only fitting that i sculpted a garment of my favorite designer Alexander McQueen's Fall 2009 collection.
My hands are covered in blisters, but all in all, i really like how it turned out.
I learned so much making it.
My only regret is that I didn't build a bigger version of it, because I really wanted to smooth out places of her face but it just was too small to get the hard to reach places.
So whatcha think?
I definitely want to do more sculptures. I had alot fun.
Other than that, i had an amazing weekend hanging out with my friends Eisley & Christie Dupree band, and the whole gang;)
I haven't seen them for about 6 months, so it was great hanging out with them. :)
Check out both their albums, they are amazing!
P.s. Flare magazine was kind enough to interview me, if you want to read it go to Flare.com
Quantum of Solace.
F21 lace tank, vintage skirt, Amrita Singh bangles, Aldo platforms
Today I wore a sheer laced top from F21 paired with a muted maxi skirt. I’ve been trying to beat the heat this summer by wearing pieces that are minimal and fuss free.
Lost Flowers in the Wilderness - Inspiration Friday
Happy Inspiration Friday, everyone!
I hope you are all doing well.
Last night my brother and I went and
Saw our friends Eisley and our friend
Christie DuPree play in San Diego. It
was a really fun concert and they sounded great!
Eisley played all of the songs
from their new album The Valley.
It was really fun to hear them all live!
They are playing on Sunday at the Troubadour in Hollywood
if you live in the area.
Check 'em out! : )
Character Development For Our Story
Hi friends! How are you?
So I ran out of clay and have to
wait for more to arrive to finish my sculpture.
I'm really excited, though! It is a super fun medium.
Today's post is a drawing I did for
some character development for the story I
am writing with my brother David.
This is of lil' Finn and Samuel.
It also is part of the Series on Love : )
I hope you are all having a great week so far
and I can't wait to show you the sculpture if it turns out!
Portrait of Kate Moss part 2
Hey friends!
How was your day?
Today I attempted Clay Sculpting for the first time!
So basically i've been wanting to sculpt pretty much my whole life
and last week i ordered some clay and carving tools....
I tried my hand at it all day...
so if it turns out i will be posting soon :)
So today's post is a different version of the Kate Moss portrait i posted last week.
I thought i would do a full length version of it too.
I hope you like it : )
Western Adventures.
Zara tank, cut off denim shorts, Amrita Singh bangles, Lapis cardi, wide belt (oldie), BCBG boots
The Girl with the Green Eyes
Hello my friends!~
How was your weekend?
I hope you all took care of your moms for Mother's day.
The painting today is one i started a while ago, but i hadn't finished it till this week.
I really like how it turned out.
When i saw Jason Wu Fall 2011 collection, i knew it would make for a great painting.
I really hope you like it and hope you're having a great day! :)
Portrait of Kate Moss at Age 17
Hi, everyone!
Sorry its been so long since i
posted last! I've been working
a lot with my brother David on the
story that we are writing : )
I can't wait to finish it so we
can finally share it with you all!
So today's post is a portrait of Kate Moss
based on a photo by Frederique Veysset from 1991
when Kate Moss was only 17 years old!
I hope you like it : )
